Tresha McClain,
BBI4RR Secretary

I am a Spanish Instructor at Northeast Alabama Community College. I joined this group to help reduce the influence of white supremacy and white privilege.  We have to take the "Rights Pie Chart" which is dominated by whites, especially males, and divide it.  We can start doing this by learning how to  communicate about Racism openly.  There is nothing more important in the United States of America than facing, diminishing, and eradicating racism. This group has that focus and the focus of helping others learn to do so.

Mission and Location

Building Bridges Institute for Racial Reconciliation is a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to address the damaging effects of Racism as both a social construct and lived experience by holding seminars and facilitating conversations in the Tuscaloosa Community.
