Que Chandler
Board of Director
Que Chandler brings her unwavering dedication and extensive community advocacy experience as a community champion to the rich historical legacy of the Black Belt Region.  With a decade of service, Que has a track record that demonstrates her ability to mobilize resources for the benefit of financially affected residents. She organized the very successful West Alabama COVID-Relief Essentials Drive,  has received multiple awards for Outstanding Community Service, including the Junior League of Tuscaloosa Community Leader of the Year (2022) and was the 2021 recipient of United Way of West Alabama Young Leaders Award.  Que honed her problem-solving skills by founding three organizations for young adults, including a summer activity program for youth (Friday Night Live, promoting diversity in literature, Girl Power Book Club, and the Secret Mom's Club), which provides sanitary products for single moms and a holiday feeding initiative for Stillman College students further reflecting her dedication to community enrichment.   Que's legacy of empowerment, compassion, and tireless advocacy positions her as an invaluable asset to the BBI4RR, where she envisions shaping a region where Reconciliation is not just about bridging divides; it’s about bringing counterparts into the movement, acknowledging shared humanity, and committing to a collective journey toward justice and equality."
